A Christmas present for mummy? Oh no, Kitty!

Thought I'd share with you my all time favourite Christmas present that Kitty received this year. It's even olive green my perfect colour! Aren't the animals so sweet, I think it's from the 70's not sure. Anyway, this picture is exactly how I imagined it adorned as soon as I opened it up. However.....
....it was out with the china tea set and in with the plastic dress up shoes :( Kitty is chuffed to bits with the cupboard's new purpose and I am silently sobbing in the corner wondering how I lost so much control over my 3 year old's room aesthetics.

  1. Happy New Year George! Wow I love it. I know how you are feeling about how you want things to plan out in the interior stakes, but she will get over the shoes abd you can slowly move in the tea set!

  4. Oh my goodness, I am in love with this and want one immediately! Don't you just love reliving your childhood through your little ones?

    Where did you find it?

  5. Love this! And my 2 year old already has these awful shoes too (though luckily can't walk in them yet). It's a brilliant blog - beautiful.
ps George - you probably won't remember me but I worked with you back in London many light years ago. Were we ICM then? Sarah told me about the blog and said I'd LOVE it. And I do.

  6. Oh I can't work out how to post a photo here (long blonde hair, frazzled dark circles under eyes which have only got worse with motherhood!) but I worked (still do) with Paul Stevens in Lit so we weren't part of your regular Casting frantic day. Oh and plus I have a plush job which means I get to work from home 80% of the week so barely about in the office!

Anyway - what a beautiful blog. The closest I get to any such thing is the mayhem of cut-and-paste at Pinterest. (do you have a Pinterest account btw?)
